Free call 0508 SEX HEALTH (0508 739 432). All messages are checked and calls returned Monday to Friday.
Note. Early surgical abortions (up to 13 weeks pregnancy) and later medical abortions (over 16 weeks and up to 20 weeks pregnancy) are through Taranaki Base Hospital.
What will it cost me?
Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Free abortion services for any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand living in the Te Whatu Ora Taranaki district. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.
Cost for non-New Zealand resident
